Guidelines for appropriate use of HowdyNeighbor lead data

Purpose

HowdyNeighbor provides neighborhood-focused homeowner lead lists to licensed insurance agents and agencies. This Acceptable Use Policy sets boundaries to ensure legal, ethical, and respectful use of our data.

Allowed Use

  • Prospecting for new insurance customers consistent with law and carrier policies
  • Storage in CRMs and dialers with appropriate access controls
  • Respectful contact frequency and honoring opt-out requests

Prohibited Use

  • Harassment, discrimination, or doxxing of any individual
  • FCRA-covered uses without a permissible purpose
  • Resale or redistribution outside your organization without written permission
  • TCPA or DNC violations for calls, texts, or automated communications

Compliance

You must comply with all applicable telemarketing, privacy, and consumer-protection laws. Remove data promptly upon request from consumers.

Enforcement

Access may be suspended or terminated for AUP violations. We reserve the right to investigate complaints and take appropriate action.
